SOCIAL-ROLE INTERACTION IN THE CONTEXT OF TEACHING INTERNATIONAL COMMUNICATION

Abstract. The author discusses the problem of teaching intercultural communication for higher education establishment students in foreign language classes, and states that the understanding of another way of life and mastering native speakers’ speech behaviour are the most difficult aspects of mastering a foreign language for intercultural communication, and therefore educational process organization on the basis of social-role interaction is an effective way of intercultural communicative competence development.
