THEORETICAL FOUNDATIONS OF TEACHING SITUATIONALLY CONDITIONED CROSS-CULTURAL COMMUNICATION IN THE RUSSIAN LANGUAGE AS FOREIGN ONE

Abstract. The author presents the attempt of reading some E. Sapir’s texts in terms of linguo- culturology, emphasizes the main ideas which are interpreted as possible basic postulates in the practice of teaching the Russian language as foreign one, and undertakes the attempt to apply the idea of ??speech patterns to teaching situationally conditioned cross-cultural communication in conditions of non-native speech environment.
