DYNAMIC CHARACTERISTICS OF ENGLISH-LANGUAGE POLITICAL DISCOURSE

Abstract. The author researches the rhythmic organization of the English-language political speech, which is set by communicative-pragmatic dominant and genre features, experimentally reveals invariant and variant dynamic characteristics that are integral to the rhythmic and prosodic model of rhetorically effective political discourse, determines the specificity of political speech loudness, and reveals the peculiarities of dynamic subsystem acoustic correlates functioning in the receptive scheme of discourse.
