Abstract. The author considers the presuppositional characteristics of the adapted text, for the first time reveals presuppositions kinds that are used in the adapted text, compares the texts of the Administrative Offences Code and its Commentary, analyzes new information, which appears in the text of the Commentary, presents the new information that explains the Code text in the form of explicated intertextual, interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary presuppositions, and concludes that the obtained results of the research can be considered as recommendations for specialized texts adaptation.
