IMAGE OF NIETZSCHE IN GERMAN MODERNISM LYRICS

Abstract. The author considers Friedrich Nietzsche and his influence on German literature and culture, which was represented in the poetry of art nouveau as an independent image, conducts the research by the material of German language art nouveau prominent representatives’ poems: G. Benn, R. Demel, C. Henkel, G. von Hofmannsthal, A. Holtz, Klabunde, D. von Lilienkrona, H. Morgenstern, F. Wedekind; and groups poetic material on the basis of Nietzsche’s image presence in the title, epigraph, or directly in the text of the poem.
