NOTION "PAIN" AND FIGURATIVE SYSTEM ASSOCIATED WITH IT IN THE MODERN UKRAINIAN LYRICS (BY THE MATERIAL OF STEPAN PROTSYUK’S POETRY)

Abstract. The author considers the features of using the notion "pain" and pain characteristics in the modern Ukrainian poetry, tells that pain in poetry is a certain sign, which understanding contributes to better reading of the text, shows that the mentioning of head and heart pains most often occur in the Ukrainian lyrics, analyzes them in the article, pays attention to colour spectrum associated with sensation of pain, and considers pain as the factor that influences character’s behaviour and his world perception system.
