TESTING AS CONTROL MEANS WHILE TEACHING STUDENTS READING IN A FOREIGN LANGUAGE

Abstract. The author tells about foreign reading role increase in the modern educated person’s life and the importance of the formation level control of this type of speech activity, analyzes reading test tasks from the materials of the State Final Certification and the Unified State Exam in the German language, and also school educational and methodological documentation for the purpose of finding such tasks in them, and formulates practical recommendations for teachers on making tests for foreign texts reading control.
