FROM HISTORY OF INDIVIDUAL WORD-MEANING STUDY

Abstract. The author summarizes some aspects of different approaches to the interpretation of individual (subjective) meaning: ??in pragmatic theories of meaning, in psycholinguistics, in linguistic semantics; and enumerates the directions and results of author’s researches in this field: the analysis of individual meaning structure in terms of field and aspect approaches, the ascertainment of semantic and pragmatic factors of individual meanings formation, the classification of their types, and the consideration of subjective categorization by the example of abstract and specific vocabulary.
