NOTIONAL COMPONENT OF CONCEPT "PARDON" IN CANADIAN ENGLISH

Abstract. The author aims at researching the notional structure component of the concept "pardon" in Canadian English, for this purpose by using data from monolingual, bilingual and ideographic dictionaries makes up the list of lexemes that represent the notional part of the concept "pardon" in Canadian English, and presents the semantic content of lexemes in the form of diagrams, as it allows considering visually the features of lexemes dictionary meanings and conducting the analysis of dictionary definitions.
