Abstract. Due to the forming aspect of the Russian language research, called "metaphorology", the interest in the analysis of metaphorical models has increased, which aim is to reveal the motivating semes of metaphorical transfer. The author presents the analysis of the processes of individual musical terms metaphorization, which today, according to author’s observations, are widely spread as metaphors.
