STATUS, STRUCTURAL AND STRUCTURAL-SEMANTIC TYPOLOGY OF ENGLISH TERMS AND SLANGISMS OF SHOW BUSINESS SPHERE

Abstract. The author reveals the status and structural-semantic typology of terms and slangisms of show business sphere in the modern English language, considers the status characteristics of terms and slangisms of corresponding sublanguage, classifies them according to structural and semantic features, revealing their percentage ratio, and basing on the analysis of a large number of examples concludes that word-formative pattern based on rethinking is priority for the terms and slangisms of show business sphere.
