FUNCTIONING FEATURES OF LEXEME "LIMB": NORMATIVE-DIACHRONIC ASPECT

Abstract. The author by the material of dictionary by V. Dal' considers the functioning features of the lexeme "limb" in the somatic meaning in normative-diachronic aspect, mentions the shifts in the semantic structure, paradigmatic-syntagmatic characteristics of this word, tells that they are topical in the context of the research of such process as democratization of the modern Russian language, and in conclusion suggests the differentiation of such terms as "pornofication" and "increase of offensive words" in vocabulary.
