"TRADE" CONCEPT VERBALIZATION IN OLD SLAVONIC TRANSLATION OF APOSTLE

Abstract. The verbal representation of "Trade" concept in the Old Slavonic translation of The Acts and Epistles of the Apostles is for the first time considered in the article. The data of the text noncontemporaneous versions are researched against the background of the Greek primary source. Two main metaphorization methods in the most ancient Apostle version are revealed interpreting the Divine Providence as visual and speech activity that significantly differs from the original conceptualization implying intellectual and volitional activity.
