Abstract. The article is devoted to the description of a new approach to statements about facts and valuation judgments differentiation during expert research concerning honour protection cases. The author suggests a diverse understanding of the expert task of statements about facts and valuation judgments differentiation, singles out pragmatic and semantic characteristics of statements, important for the mentioned task solution, presents the methods of arguable statement expert analysis and shows their use variants by the concrete example.
