Abstract. The article presents the detailed analysis of prepositional-case forms with temporal semantics in expression of cyclic and linear time. Prepositional-case forms are considered by the example of the science fiction work "Plutonia" written by soviet writer Vladimir Obruchev and the work "The Lost World" by English writer Arthur Conan Doyle.
