Abstract. Gastronomic metaphor holds a prominent place in the conceptualization of the world and forms a significant fragment of the linguistic picture of the world. The article considers the features of gastronomic metaphor in tourist narrative, its role in the formation of a gastronomic fragment of the world of local interest. An important characteristic of gastronomic metaphor in tourist narrative is the presence of broad associative links, symbolic meanings and evaluative connotations.
