INTUITION IN TRANSLATION ACTIVITY: PEDAGOGICAL ASPECT

Abstract. The article considers the role and specificity of intuition in translation activity. A review of approaches to the definition of translation intuition is conducted. The author’s point of view on translation personality’s intuitive space, including heuristic guess, language intuition and cross-cultural accuracy, is suggested. In conclusion the article presents the variants of exercises for future translators’ intuition development.
