Abstract. The article discusses the problem of content selecting and structuring in teaching discipline "Foreign Language" for master’s degree students of economic profile. Particular attention is paid to the thematic aspect of the content of teaching this discipline. The experience of foreign languages department ??in the sphere of economics, business and finance of Institute of Economics and Finance of Kazan’ (Volga Region) Federal University is described.
