Abstract. The author reveals the peculiarities of the French poetic text of the middle of the XX th century in the context of the aesthetics of event. Event, which is understood as unity and interaction between poetic word and the world of history, reveals truth and sense of being, and the poet is destined to proclaim that. France freedom becomes a personal event in the poet’s life, who can "put into words" his feelings and thoughts.
