EPIC HEROINE’S ACTIONS ALGORITHM (BY MATERIAL OF HEROIC EPOS OF THE BURYATS AND YAKUTS)

Abstract. The author presents the characteristic of the image and the revelation of the algorithm of an epic heroine (maiden)’s actions in the ancient eposes of the Buryats and the Yakuts in the context of the realization of the main epic idea aimed at marriage institution strengthening in tribal society, and comes to the conclusion that the Yakut epos heroines have more archaic origin, and the plot-motive and personage parallels of the Buryat uligers and the Yakut olonkhos point at eposes typological proximity rather than at these peoples genetic relationship .
