ENGLISH BUSINESS VOCABULARY TEACHING: SOCIAL-CULTURAL ASPECT

Abstract. The author considers the features of the English business vocabulary teaching in a non-linguistic higher education establishment taking into account a social-cultural component, and therefore determines the basic components of teaching, gives the step-by-step description of the system of the work on the semantization and consolidation of new vocabulary within the framework of the course "Business English", and presents the examples of the tasks worked out on the basis of modern authentic materials that serve to foster students’ social-cultural background knowledge.
