PARODIC NATURE OF PLOT IN V. V. NABOKOV’S NOVEL "LOOK AT THE HARLEQUINS!"

Abstract. The author describes the question of the plot parodic nature in V. V. Nabokov’s novel "Look at the Harlequins!", considers the plot as a chain of the parodic variations of the plot about "demon in love", and mentions that the original plot dates back to the context of romanticism literature and it is parodically transformed in modernism literature.
