COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF FEATURES OF PHYTONYMS NOMINATION BY DIFFERENT NATIONS (BY THE MATERIAL OF THE RUSSIAN, MARI, ENGLISH AND FRENCH LANGUAGES)

Abstract. The author conducts the comparative analysis of plant names in the Russian, Mari, English and French languages as the floral fragment components of the linguistic picture of the world, pays special attention to the identification of similarities and differences in plants nomination by different nations, and tells that the presented plants classification by the nature of the differential features that underlie designation reflects the specific features of the national character, cultural and historical traditions of people.
