MOTIVE OF BLIZZARD AS FRAGMENT OF ARTISTIC PICTURE OF THE WORLD IN CREATIVE WORKS OF A. S. PUSHKIN AND A. P. CHEKHOV

Abstract. The author considers the motive of blizzard as the most important fragment in the artistic picture of the world in the creative works of Pushkin and Chekhov. In Chekhov's works this motive gains artistic completeness, incorporating into the integral picture of the world, and therefore it is rightful to speak about the adherence to Pushkin's tradition. At the same time, this motive acquires new perception, which is manifested in its enhanced symbolism and special relations formation between man and nature. Chekhov perceives Pushkin's images, giving them new content, as a rule, Chekhov's characters are involved in everyday life.
