Abstract. The authors consider syncretic intertextuality - the interaction of visual image with verbal text, the partial or complete description of visual image in literary text, serving for the author of an artistic work as the way of content-conceptual and content-implied information transmission, and for a reader - as the way of this information decoding, and show that in the verbal structure of the poem the poet M. Makataev represents the concept sea expressed by the artonimom The Ninth Wave in the format of text in text.
