ANALYSIS AND ESTIMATION OF PERCEPTION OF TRAGEDY FATAL CURIOSITY BY GEORGE LILLO

Abstract. The author considers the English play of the Age of Enlightenment Fatal Curiosity by George Lillo. It was possible to create a distinctive, original work due to the new approach to figurative dramatic material. Moralizing motives sounding in it attracted the attention of well-known playwrights, critics and writers in Europe and were further reflected in their writings.
