Abstract. The author presents the brief review of the novels written by the Yakut people's writer Sofron Petrovich Danilov. His novels - While the Heart Beats, A Person Lives Only Once, Don't Fly Away, Swans - greatly influenced the Yakut literature development and social-psychological prose genre formation.
