THE SPACE OF FEMALE PROSE: KITCHEN (BY THE MATERIALS OF MEXICAN-AMERICAN LITERATURE)

Abstract. Semantics of kitchen space in Mexican-American female prose is analyzed in the article. The author pays the special attention to the varied attitude of modern Chicano authoresses to kitchen space traditionally understood as a female one.
