LANGUAGE EXECUTION OF SPEECH ACT OF THREAT (ON THE BASIS OF ENGLISH POLITICAL DISCOURSE)

Abstract. The review of the existing points of view on the differentiation of direct and indirect speech acts is given, and also the problem of the performative explication of speech acts of threat is considered in the article. Speech act of threat is explicated by the means of the form of other kinds of speech acts keeping its own communicative intention and semantic contents.
