LANGUAGE AND CULTURE: SOURCES AND PARADIGMS OF INTERACTION

Abstract. The article is devoted to the actual problem of the interaction of language and culture as the fundamental components of intercultural communication. In the article the basic areas of linguistic and culturologic researches are presented, the treatments of base concepts are analysed, the postulates reflecting the specificity of their interaction are formulated, and also the features of various scientific approaches to their interaction are revealed and their characteristics are interpreted.
