PROSPECTS FOR EUROPEAN COOPERATION ON MIGRATION REGULATION ISSUES

Abstract. In the article the prospects for cooperation at the pan-European level on the settlement of the migration crisis in the European Union are considered. Poor efficiency of the existing migration policy, legislation and activity of European institutions under new conditions is noted. Particular attention is paid to the principle of "flexible solidarity", which is of key importance in overcoming the consequences caused by massive influx of refugees.
