DEVELOPMENT OF HIGH ACHIEVEMENTS SPORT IN THE CAPITAL

Abstract. In this article the author analyzes the general condition and problems of development of Olympic sports, as well as the results of participation of Moscow sportsmen in the summer and winter Olympic Games in the last decade of the XX century. Positive and negative trends of the process of preparing Moscow sportsmen for participation in international sports events are revealed.
