FORMATION OF THE MILITARY CLERGY INSTITUTION IN WESTERN SIBERIA IN THE XVIII CENTURY

Abstract. The article considers the issues of origin and development of the military clergy institution in Western Siberia during the XVIII century, and reveals the distinctive features of its formation from the time of the first regimental priests appearance in the region till the creation of the first organizational and administrative structure of the eparchial level that was intended to direct the activity of the army clergy.
