ON THE ISSUE OF IMPROVING MILITARY UPBRINGING AT THE MILITARY-EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION

Abstract. The article examines the issue of improving military upbringing by the methods of military students’ spiritual and moral upbringing. The author provides a brief survey of scientific publications on the mentioned problem, which has identified contradiction between the objective social need for the spiritual and moral personality of a future officer, on the one hand, and the current state of military students’ spiritual and moral upbringing, on the other hand. Relying on the findings the author developed methodology of military students’ spiritual and moral upbringing, which will allow exerting purposeful educative influence on the future military specialist’s personality.
