IMAGES CONNECTED WITH CLOTHES IN MODERN PERFUMERY DISCOURSE

Abstract. The article considers an associative connection between fragrance and clothes by the example of the texts of online reviews about perfume products. The primary forms of such approach, among which the image takes the central place, are revealed. Clothes become such conceptual area-source that gives a speaker a system of means, which allow realizing subjective ideas of an author-nonprofessional about a perfume product. The paper presents examples, in which a wish to develop in various textual forms obeying these or those requirements of the discourse and potentially enclosed in tropes, is reflected.
