PECULIARITIES OF REPRESENTATIONS OF THE CONCEPT "RESOURCE EFFICIENCY" IN THE RUSSIAN AND ENGLISH LANGUAGES

Abstract. The article examines the ways of the representation of the concept "resource efficiency" and the peculiarities of its discursive implementation in the Russian and English languages. On the basis of the comparative analysis of the dictionaries of the Russian and English languages the content of the notional concept core is presented. Besides, the paper shows the results of the analysis of situational contexts. The authors make conclusions about the peculiarities of the representation of the concept under study in the Russian- and English-language scientific-technical discourse.
