Abstract. In the article the authors reveal the results of the analysis of the current state of the automation and robotization of lifting-transport processes in the production of welded flange beams at domestic and foreign enterprises, ground the necessity of the development of modular elements for robotized factories, and propose a conceptual diagram of the portal-tilter.
