SPECIFICS OF STRUCTURIZATION OF GUSTAV MAHLER’S CHAMBER VOCAL CYCLES

Abstract. The article analyzes the basic structural characteristics, which became means to combine Gustav Mahler’s chamber vocal cycles. Studying the key formative elements, such as prosodic-thematic arcs, figurative and thematic allusions, the temporal aspect, tonal and textual parallels, allows the author to classify Mahler’s cycles as complicated dramatic compositions based on musical dramatical unification.
