PECULIARITIES OF INFORMATION SECURITY OF BANKING SYSTEMS AND MEASURES FOR PROVIDING IT

Abstract. The article examines the principles of the information security of banking systems taking into account their specific peculiarities and differences from the information systems of other organizations, and also the requirements of the latest native Bank of Russia Standard for providing the information security of the organizations of the banking system of the Russian Federation. Measures are suggested to protect banking data, which are topical after the appearance of "Statute on Information Security in Payment System" and other by-laws. The analysis of the degree of reducing risks for banks providing the necessary level of information security is conducted.
