PERCEPTION, DEVELOPMENT AND CONSERVATION OF AXIOLOGICAL CONCEPTS OF ANTIQUITY IN CULTURE OF THE RENAISSANCE

Abstract. The article examines the issue of the perception of the values of ancient art during the Renaissance. By means of the research of philosophical essays and treatises on the architecture and fine art of the Renaissance the idea is proved that antiquity was an axiological standard in the works of the thinkers of the Renaissance. Intention to keep the values of ancient art is expressed in the formation of such socio-cultural institute as museum in the period under study.
