Abstract. The article reveals the essence and structure of students’ sociocultural competence, which is the integrity of the social and cultural orientation of the educational activity of the modern student, and this fact determines the relevance of its formation in the context of modern education and the conception of the artistic education of Ukraine. The author focuses on describing one of pedagogical conditions for the realization of holographic and transformational technology to form the sociocultural competence of students at art lessons - pedagogical stage direction.
