Abstract. This article is devoted to the solution of one of the key tasks of the aviation-transport system - the improvement of the efficiency of aircrafts operation connected, primarily, with the increase of their flying time during the day and, as a result, with the reduction in the length of maintenance on the ground. By the example of the airplane hydraulic system the author presents a methodology of the quantitative evaluation of the quality of maintenance operations implementation.
