COGNITIVE PECULIARITIES OF ONYMICAL PRECEDENTAL PHENOMENA IN LITERARY TEXT

Abstract. The article examines the problem of the nature and cognitive structure of precedental phenomena in literary text, of the ability of onyms to be precedental phenomena and motivate the formation of precedents, of the role of precedental phenomena in the creation of intertextuality. The definition of precedental literary text is given, its functions are enumerated, and the processes of nomination involving onyms are studied.
