SOCIAL ACTIVITY OF YOUNG PEOPLE AS A FACTOR OF THEIR HUMAN CAPITAL FORMATION

Abstract. The paper presents some results of a sample survey of the population of Volgograd city and Volgograd region aged 16-29, aimed at identifying the real effectiveness of investments in the basic components of young people’s human capital. The massive questionnaire survey acted as a method of collecting primary data. The numerical values ??on some indicators of young people’s social activity were obtained. It is proved that young people’s social activity in modern Russia is quite high. Under certain conditions it may become a significant positive factor of the efficient formation of the Russian young people’s human capital.
