POLLUTION OF TERRITORIES OF VOLGOGRAD AND VOLGOGRAD REGION WITH NITRATE IONS

Abstract. The article deals with the anthropogenic pollution of Volgograd region, which is the largest industrial centre in the Southern Federal District. The identification of the level of pollution with nitrate ions of six areas of the region under study with various degrees of anthropogenic load was carried out with the use of potentiometric method in snow mantle as an indicator of environmental pollution with typical ecotoxicants. It is noted that agricultural enterprises make the main contribution to the accumulation of nitrate ions among the main sources of anthropogenic influence.
