THE BRICS DEVELOPMENT BANK AND POOL OF CURRENCY RESERVES

Abstract. In this article the objectives, functions, fund amount of the BRICs Development Bank, as well as preconditions that led to its creation are considered. The paper is devoted to a topical problem of changing the world financial and economic architecture. The advantages and disadvantages of the BRICs Development Bank foundation and possible versions of transforming disadvantages into competitive advantages for countries - the participants of the group - are analyzed.
