RELIGIOUS MOTIVES IN B. L. PASTERNAK’S AND M. I. TSVETAEVA’S POEMS

Abstract. The content of B. L. Pasternak’s and M. I. Tsvetaeva’s poetic works is interpreted from the perspectives of Christianity, which makes it possible to look at the creativity of the literary artists of the pre-Soviet and Soviet periods from the standpoint not coinciding with the one accepted in literary tradition. The author pays main attention to the events of the Christian discourse and religious symbols reflected in the poetic texts.
