PREVENTING CONSTITUTIONAL CRISIS IN THE LIGHT OF NEW THEORIES OF CONSTITUTIONALISM

Abstract. The article analyzes theoretical approaches to identifying the conception "constitutionalism". The author shows the transformation of views on the essential characteristics of this phenomenon. Analyzing foreign experience the paper concludes on the growing importance of the democratic aspect of constitutionalism in conflict periods. The researcher focuses on the domestic problems of the implementation of the theoretical provisions of "democratic constitutionalism" conception.
