PROBLEM ABOUT MAGNETOHYDRODYNAMIC GENERATOR AT PHYSICS CONTEST

Abstract. The article is devoted to the training of secondary school students for physics contest. The authors propose for the purpose of the facilitation of the understanding of complex problems to bring them to a sequence of simpler ones allowing understanding the essence of the physical processes under study. As an example the contest problem about magnetohydrodynamic generator is considered. The detailed solution of the problem and the discussion of the obtained result are given. The paper can be useful for school teachers in the case of working with gifted children.
