ON THE ISSUES OF MAINTENANCE OF MACHINE AND TRACTOR FLEET OF MACHINE AND TRACTOR STATIONS IN EASTERN SIBERIA IN THE POST-WAR YEARS

Abstract. The article is devoted to the main issues of the maintenance of the machine and tractor fleet of machine and tractor stations (MTS) in Eastern Siberia in the post-war years. The paper gives the analysis of the repair base of the MTS workshops, shows drawbacks in the repair of equipment and the ways to eliminate them. Attention is paid to the problems that were encountered by the MTS because of the lack of spare parts and new equipment. The author also considers the measures that were taken by the public authorities to improve the quality of equipment repair, as well as difficulties related to the introduction of new methods of tractors and combines repair in the MTS workshops.
